About

About Me

Hello, my name is Kyree N. Klimist and I am a psychotherapist, licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 30 years. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan but have lived in the SF-Bay Area for 40 years.

I have a private practice. I also have extensive work experience in the corporate and non-profit world and thus understand the challenging dynamics of the work world.

I work primarily with individuals.  I also have experience as a Family Court Mediator working with divorcing couples, helping them separate with compassion, and  to develop parenting plans and custody agreements in a respectful manner.

I am a mother and understand the stresses and the joys of parenthood. One of my passions is training dogs  (Wild Dog Down) and I currently enjoy volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Dancing Hands

Humans are relational beings. At times those relationships can be a struggle.  Often people come to individual therapy when they are entering a new relationship, struggling in a current relationship or getting out of a relationship. Together we explore your relationships past and present. We will work towards healing old wounds, learning about healthy boundaries and building a sense of peace and satisfaction in your current relationships.

Co-Parenting Therapy
